Challenge To Conquer Cancer: Greenville

A Palmetto Peloton Project Event

Date: Oct 14th-21st, 2012

Start at GHS Cancer Center
Finish at Embassy Suites, Downtown Austin

For its fifth year out of Greenville, the Challenge to Conquer Cancer weeklong ride invites you to cross the Southeastern US in support of cancer research, outreach, and advocacy. Join us for an intense, thrilling week!

Stretching throughout the mountains of Georgia and Tennessee, the ride route follows the Natchez Trace trail, where the Greenville teams will meet up with the group of riders from Miami. Then everyone will ride together for the last leg of the ride into Austin.

The ride will feature a total of five teams riding relay style, with five members per team riding in six-hour shifts, 24 hours a day total. The ride is fully supported, with medical, mechanical, nutrition, fluids and massage therapy available on each route.

Every rider needs to raise a minimum of $5000, and each supporter needs to raise a minimum of $2500. Once you’ve paid your $250 non-refundable, registration fee, be sure to share your online donation link with friends and family, and take advantage of our Fundraiser's Tool Kit for more creative ideas in reaching your goal.
